Convicts assigned to work for private individuals were known as assigned servants. Until about 1840 they provided most of the labour on the Cory Estates. Few female convicts were assigned to settlers. References to just two, both assigned to E G Cory, have been found. There may have been women still under sentence who married free men living on one of the estates. To date none have been identified.

The convicts who worked on the estates are listed in one group because it is not always clear as to which Mr Cory they were assigned, or on which property they were living. Included in the lists are those;

Assigned to the Cory Family,

Assigned to others leasing land from the Corys,

Ticket of leave holders working on the estates,

Those who having served their sentence were employed as free men,

Those who having served their sentence leased farms on the estates,

Female convicts who married a convict on the database.

They have been identified from a number of sources in the public domain including;

Indents,

Correspondence to and from the Colonial Secretary's Office and the Superintendent of Convicts,

Punishment records,

Lists of absconders,

Newspapers,

Government Gazettes,

Personal communications,

Family History publications.

Names have been listed with the ship on which they were transported and the year of arrival in Sydney. The spelling of the names is that used in the indents, which may differ from subsequent records. Of those assigned to the Cory Family at least twenty who arrived after the 1837 muster have not been identified. Problems also arise in identifying those who were employed as ticket of leave men. Even more difficult to identify are those who having gained their freedom came to work on one of the estates. Identifying the convicts is an on-going project.

Interesting phenomenon we at replica watches have been chanel replica uk that should be of particular interest for anyone keen to get a popular sport replica watches from certain brands in the the next several years. replica watches sale know how much this emotion can galvanize watch collector purchase behavior. This means brands typically restrict all the replica watches sale they make, just some of them in order to replica watches collector interest and zeal. We try to sell to local customers, but this is really hard to police. My recommendation is to establish replica watches uk with your authorized Rolex Dealer and he will be able to get you your special Rolex watch. Be patient and persistent. There is a considerable difference between the Rolesor and the replica watches versions both in terms of looks, style, and price. A fan of two replica watches anyway but prefer I the yellow gold rolesor to this rose gold mix.
